Mr. Louis Lataif,
Dean of School of Management of BU, visited Seoul
on July 24, 2002. With 6 members attended, the followings
are three
major topics discussed during the meeting:

The
current status of school affairs, such as
School Ranking, GMAT Score Improvement, Graduates
Employment Status and so on. |

World economy
and its effects on Korea economy -Enron Cirsis,
Economy Slow-down, Korea Turn-around. |
| 3) |
The
cooperative relations among fellow students,
and so on. |

지난 9월 9일 저녁 하이야트
호텔 Paris Grill에서 상대 임원 모임이 개최되었습니다. 모두 11명이 모인 가운데
몇 가지 협의 사항과 기타 세부 의견들이 개진되었습니다. 협의 사항은 다음과 같습니다.

예정되었던 상대 동창회 연말 모임을 2003년 1월 20일에 'BU 총동창회
신년 모임 및 임시 총회'로 일자 및 모임 명칭을 바꿈. 대통령 선거기간동안
동창회등 모임 금지 조치에대한 대안임. |

상기 신년 모임에서 2002년
4월 정기 총회에서 총동창회장으로 선임된 한영재 회장의 사임으로 비상경계열
동문 중에서 총동창회장을 선임키로 함. |
| 3) |
상경계열
홈페이지 구축이 10월 중으로 완료 예정이며, 홈페이지 안에 각종 소모임 활동에
대한 부분을 활성화 시킴과 동창회 연회비 납입을 온라인으로 할수있는 방안을
모색키로 함. |

| BU Management and Economics Alumni
Association held its board member meeting at the
Paris Grill of Hyatt Hotel on September 9, 2002.
With 11 alumni board members attended, several major
topics and decisions made are as follows; |

Due
to the government policy against year-end
events such as alumni meetings during the
period of presidential election, the date
of our year-end meeting was postponed from
12/2/2002 to 1/20/2003 under the title of
'BU Alumni Association New-Year Event and
Temporary General Meeting.' |

According
to the resignation of the current chairman,
Mr. Young Jae Han, who was elected for the
chairman of the whole alumni association at
the beginning of this year, new chairman will
be selected among the non-management and non-economics
graduates. |
| 3) |
The Internet
home page for the Management and Economics
Alumni will be established by the end of October:
Solutions are being researched to facilitate
the use of Home Page such as gathering the
small meetings, and online fee payment through
the home page will also be available soon.

BUKBC is organized with Korean students studying
at the Boston University. The goal of its foundation
is not only to promote mutual friendship among the
members of the club, but also to fulfill the student's
genuine duty to achieve the continuous and systematic
academic work.
In addition, BUKBC has formed many plans for school
activities to push forward the club with more activation.
Hence, BUKBC is currently in need of many supporters
from alumni members. The attached is a BUKBC Supporters'
Club application form. You can fill this out and
simply fax it to this number 02-708-7489 or go to
the BUKBC web site www.bukbc.com. It would be very
helpful if you could kindly do the either way for
the BUKBC Korean students.
